David Weiss is Senior Vice President, Fine Art with Freeman's | Hindman where he is both a departmental specialist and a licensed auctioneer. He has been in the auction field for over three decades, during which time he has been Head of Department for 'European Art and Old Masters,' 'Prints,' and 'Oriental Rugs.' He has appeared on the PBS television program 'Antiques Roadshow' for over 15 seasons. His specializations with the Appraisers Association are in the areas of American Art; Prints; Rugs, Carpets and Tapestries: General; and Antique Oriental and European Rugs. He has been a guest lecturer for the Textile Museum "Rug and Textile Appreciation Morning" program, Washington, DC and a juror at 'Spring Masters,' New York.
