About

I am an accredited appraiser with a specialty of Modern and Impressionist art who has also worked for over 10 years with major collections of American and European 19th and 20th Century Art. As an Art Appraiser for Enservio Select I appraise high net worth properties and estates for clients across the nation. Prior to working as an appraiser, I worked at several major art museums including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, and the Princeton University Art Museum. In addition to completing my certificate in Appraisal Studies of Fine and Decorative Arts from New York University, I earned a Masters of Art History from City College of the City University of New York and my Bachelors of Art History and French from the University of Connecticut. My thesis explored claims of ownership in relation to the stolen art of World War II. My writing can be seen in several scholarly journals and museum catalogues including the article, Paul Cézanne as Printmaker. Although my specialty is Modern and Impressionist art, I have worked extensively with prints in many major collections. I am available to provide expert appraisals for Insurance and Loss/Damage.
