About
I am a Certified appraiser with a specialization in Impressionist, Modern, Post-War, Contemporary, and Emerging art. I hold a Ph.D in Art History and have worked with public, private and corporate collections, and artist's estates, handling provenance research, cataloguing, acquisitions, and valuations of fine art. The Art of the Appraisal is an independent appraisal firm that provides expert certified appraisals for insurance, donation, estate planning, and other tax purposes for all types of Fine art. In addition to my professional pursuits, I have a lengthy roster of public lectures, conference partipication, publications and teaching. Currently I am an Associate Adjunct Professor, in the Art Market Studies program, F.I.T, SUNY, and an Adjunct Faculty member at the Sotheby's Institute of Art, New York.
