Specializing in Post War and Contemporary art, Heidi Lee Komaromi has 20 years of art advisory experience and is able to conduct appraisals for all purposes, including Insurance, Resale, Charitable Donations, Estate Tax Equity, and Equitable Distribution. Heidi has been a USPAP-compliant certified member of the Appraisers Association of America since 2002. She has worked with private art collectors and Fortune 500 companies, including Morgan Stanley, UBS, Kearney, and Exxon. Heidi has advised on over 3,000 works of art from blue-chip artists such as Mark Rothko, Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, and Jean-Michel Basquiat to emerging artists such as Derek Fordjour, Sanford Biggers, Futura, Lance De Los Reyes, and Jose Parla.Sub-specialities include Outsider Art and Urban Art, where Heidi has appraised entire collections of both genres.In 2010, Heidi won an Affirmation Arts curatorial grant. She has served as co-chair of the New Museum and on the board of ArtTable. She is a member of the MoMA, Guggenheim, Whitney, New Museum, and Parrish Art Museum. Referring institutions include: JP Morgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, Carbone and Molloy and auction houses Christie's and Sotheby's.
