Maureen Mahony is an accredited member of The Appraisers Association of America as of February 2026, and a candidate for certification. She is a practicing art advisor and principal of her eponymous firm Mahony Dady Art Advisory with nearly 20 years of experience advising acquisitions in the global, contemporary art market. She has been an executive member of the Association of Professional Art Advisors since 2010. Her experience includes being archivist and artist liaison to the late, LA-based artist Robert Therrien for nearly 25 years working with Gagosian Gallery, Sprüth Magers Gallery and Anthony d’Offay among many others. She was also a director of the Leo Castelli Gallery for a decade, during the gallerist’s lifetime. She has a global network of artworld colleagues and in-depth research and writing experience.
