With a life-long affinity for history and the fine and decorative arts, Meredith studied American History, Vocal Music, and Art History at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she earned a bachelor’s degree in 2008, double majoring in American history and art history. She then went on to earn a master’s through the Sotheby’s Institute in London, UK focusing on contemporary and post-war fine art. Meredith began her career in the arts working at Timothy Taylor Gallery, London, assisting both the sales and curatorial teams. In 2012, Meredith moved to Ketchum, Idaho where she currently resides. She currently serves as co-director of Gail Severn Gallery. Meredith is an Accredited member of the Appraiser’s Association of America and brings knowledge of the art market, historical trends, and unique gallery insight to each of her appraisals.
