Founded in 2004, Beijing Commune has firmly established itself as a prominent gallery nestled within the vibrant 798 Art district in Beijing. Since its inception, the gallery has grown in parallel with the vastly and ever changing landscape of Chinese contemporary art into which Beijing Commune devotes to bringing forth a diverse of profound practices and perspectives. Beijing Commune stands as a vital platform for esteemed figures and budding talents in the realm of Chinese art with their seminal solo exhibitions at the gallery marking significant milestones in their illustrious careers. Concurrently, the gallery serves as an incubator for important artists, providing them with the freedom to explore and conceive new visions within the realm of Chinese contemporary art.
