Owners Carine Fabius and Pascal Giacomini operate the gallery from their Craftsman home in Hollywood, CA. The gallery opened its doors in 1990, introducing little-known and museum-stature artists from Haiti to an appreciative Los Angeles audience. Media acclaim followed in the pages of Los Angeles Times , LA Weekly, Vanity Fair , Bon Appetit magazines, and many more. The gallery was also featured in several TV shows and news program. Since then, the world has gone online—and so has Galerie Lakaye! New works will be added on a regular basis, and we’d like you to know about them.
