Vision Position Armenia and its region as active contributors to global conversations on contemporary culture, fostering critical exchange and driving social transformation. Mission Curate contemporary art projects that critically engage with Armenia’s historic and contemporary contexts, its diasporic legacies, and cultures of the wider Eastern region. 1 Founder AHA collective was founded in Yerevan in 2019 by curator and art historian Nairi Khatchadourian. Born and raised in Paris, Nairi lives in Armenia since 2015. In museums, public spaces, abandoned factories, villages, heritage sites, she brings together artists, architects, designers, researchers, craft masters under the roof of AHA collective to renew the place of art within territories. Khatchadourian’s curatorial approach is situated at the intersection of contemporary art, independent publishing, critical museology, and placemaking. Her work begins with in-depth research into overlooked narratives and legacies, fragile geographies and marginalized communities.
