Exhibition catalogues from museum shows supported by the american contemporary art GALLERY Established in 1986 by Otto and Kirstin Hübner, the american contemporary art GALLERY is a family-run gallery dedicated to museum-quality exhibitions. Rooted in the spirit of American Abstract Expressionism – with its freedom of expression, emotional immediacy, and spiritual depth – we champion the legacies of the estates and foundations we represent and embrace artists whose work resonates with the values of the movement. When thematically compelling, we place American art in dialogue with artists from around the world, creating cross-cultural perspectives that enrich both past and present narratives. Education is at the core of our mission: through our exhibitions, publications, and events, we aim to deepen understanding and appreciation of the art we present. Since 1986, we have played a key role in advancing the cultural presence of American Abstract Expressionism in Europe, contributing to over 50 museum exhibitions, supporting scholarly publications, and collaborating with institutions through loans and curatorial expertise. Guided by intimacy, trust, and close ties within the art community, our aim is not only to engage collectors and institutions, but to inspire them – through art that endures. Selected Museum Exhibitions We are honored to have played a role in the following museum exhibitions.…
