"ऐप्रे") APRE Art House is a contemporary art gallery based in Colaba, Mumbai, dedicated to advancing rigorous artistic practices and meaningful conversations. Founded by Prerna S.M. Jain, an alumna of Christie’s Education, New York, the gallery was formalised in 2022 as a two-level exhibition space committed to both emerging and established voices whose work engages with pressing socio-political and gender-oriented concerns. The Gallery has since expanded into a new space at Arshiwala Mansion , a heritage building in Colaba. APRE’s reach extends beyond Mumbai, with curated projects in New York and New Delhi, and participation in significant art fairs including the India Art Fair. Its public programming (comprising panel discussions, performances, and film screenings) reflects a belief in interdisciplinary engagement as an essential mode of cultural production.
