About Us — Bloc Projects About Us Established in 2002, Bloc Projects is a Sheffield-based contemporary art space and charity that specialises in innovative and socially relevant art practices. We present extraordinary ideas that reimagine what is possible in the world. We guide and develop artists in the early to middle stages of their careers, as well as offer a platform for practitioners and self-initiatives through venue hire and affordable meanwhile spaces. Working closely with peers at local organisations in culture, education and community care, we ensure that our activities are welcoming and accessible to diverse groups across generations.
