All boys are welcome, regardless of zip code, immigration status, or family income. Mission To empower boys and young men through engaging and diverse programming in a supportive community. The Journey BCNY views impact holistically as a journey . The Journey Through BCNY Framework describes the pathways and milestones members go through as they mature from Explorers to Juniors to Teens and eventually join BCNY’s Alumni community. 0 % MEMBERS had one-on-one mentorship and guidance with program staff at least twice a week. 0 % OF BOYS in READ, BCNY’s early literacy program, measurably improved their reading skills. 0 % BOYS in BCNY’s College Access Program say they now feel that college is an option for them. Our 2024 Impact In 149 years of continuous operation, BCNY has positively influenced the lives of over a million young men. BCNY seeks to fulfill its mission to empower boys and young men by providing effective programs and a supportive community with over 40 engaging programs. 0 100 teen members gained internships. BCNY’s teen training programs include the Work Progress Program, Counselors-in-Training, PeaceLeaders Peer Mentoring, Project Coach, and Teen Tutors.…
