They enrich and enhance the life of the Gardens and play a vital role in supporting the Gardens. We understand everyone has different skill-sets and aspirations, hence varied positions are available for the volunteer spirit in you. Tour Guiding The Gardens runs free tours for the public. There are various tours conducted by our enthusiastic volunteer guides, where you may select one to focus on. Gardening Volunteers will have the opportunity to maintain an area in the Gardens. Presently, volunteers are working in our Plant Resource Centre. As a Gardening Volunteer, you will be involved in preparing the ground, sowing of seeds, pruning, weeding, fertilising and composting to identifying the various plants and labelling them. Available on 4th Saturday of the month Herbarium Volunteers can contribute at the Herbarium by repairing and mounting herbarium specimens. This involves stithing of specimens onto boards.…
