CHOI&CHOI Gallery was established in Cologne, Germany, in 2012. Since inception, we have built an extensive network of artists and institutions spanning from Korea to London, Paris, Berlin, and Geneva, aligning with our core mission to facilitate greater cultural exchange between these regions. We opened our Seoul space in Gangnam in 2016, and have since moved to Y eonhui-dong, a vibrant neighbourhood in Seoul where independent galleries and experimental exhibition spaces are forming a community of their own. From the outset, CHOI&CHOI Gallery has steadily promoted Korean contemporary art by cultivating relationships and projects with Korean artists. Through exhibitions and art fairs, we continue to introduce the vibrant landscape of both local and diasporic Korean contemporary art to international audiences. Our portfolio of Western artists primarily consists of emerging talents whose work has garnered attention in their local scenes. This has provided us with the opportunity to witness their growth and evolve alongside them. By introducing our roster of up-and-coming artists to both new and longtime collectors, CHOI&CHOI is dedicated to establishing a sustainable paradigm that nurtures artists and collectors alike.
