View fullsize Rebecca Cross, now an independent art curator, was a practicing artist for many years. A painter, ceramic artist and set & costume designer (Bresee Danskompani, Oslo, Norway & City Ballet of Boston, MA) has work included in the Smithsonian's Renwick Gallery and Embassies in Colombia and Nicaragua, along with hundreds of private and corporate collections. She studied painting, ceramics and sculpture at Bennington College, St Martin's School of Art, London and received her M.F.A. from The Royal College of Art, London. She then assisted sculptor Sir Anthony Caro for 2 years. Shown widely throughout the UK and the US., she has received grants from the DC Commission on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts, The American Scandinavian Foundation and is a MacDowell Fellow. www.rebeccacross.com/rcross Max MacKenzie, architectural photographer, artist and author of 3 books of his panoramic landscape photographs, "Abandonings", "American Ruins", and "Markings", has provided his architectural photography services to architects and interior designers in the DC area for 30 years.
