About - De Souza Gallery Close Menu De Souza Gallery: A Hub for Artistic Exchange De Souza Gallery builds on the foundations of the European art network EL-DRAC and the Spanish artist residence and gallery Casa del Dragon, both established in 2007. Rooted in Cervera del Maestre and the Valencian Community, our mission is to promote contemporary art while bridging the gap between rural communities and the international art world. Our Mission We aim to bring contemporary art in diverse styles and mediums—from painting to social sculpture—to rural communities, enriching local cultural landscapes. At the same time, we provide regionally based artists with a platform to showcase their work to a global audience. With a special focus on social and environmental issues, we strive to foster deeper engagement with the local community and habitat. Collaborations and Cross-Cultural Dialogue Through partnerships with galleries and institutions that share our values, we organise exhibition exchanges, broadening our artists’ reach and creating opportunities for cross-cultural dialogue. These collaborations ensure that the concepts and works of our artists resonate with both private and public art collectors internationally. Nurturing Emerging Talent We actively support emerging artists by hosting curated ‘Pop-up’ exhibitions, offering them essential opportunities to present their work to new audiences.…
