We are dedicated to highlighting emerging and mid-career artists, particularly those with marginalized identities. Our gallery is cutting-edge and non-traditional, setting us apart in the art world. As a production studio, Evoke facilitates the continuous creation of new work, fostering a symbiotic relationship with the artists we represent. This dual focus makes Evoke a unique ecosystem of creativity, and offers an invitation to experience the art alongside the artists. Evoke was born from the passion and vision of Hex Parsons and Fabian Sotelo, two lifelong artists from Chicago. We saw a need for a unique creative space in our city, a place where BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ artists could thrive. Our journey began with organizing and curating events, collaborating with other creatives in the music and art scenes, and honing a deep passion for production design and immersive experiences.
