Forme Femine Art focuses on artwork that addresses historical, radical and global expressions of the feminine form in contemporary art. The FFA places conservative and liberal values of femininity in dialogue, exploring questions of representation in the arts on an international stage. In doing so, FFA centers the afro-feminine form and primarily represents work by indigenous African artists. Our collections explore the age-old intricate relationship between art and the feminine form. In a time when gender equality remains elusive, FFA highlights the nuances through which feminine art, identity and theory can be better acknowledged and appreciated. bottom of page
