Fosse Gallery Fosse Gallery was originally established in 1980 in Stow-on-the-Wold in the Cotswolds, rooted in a serious commitment to British art. Today Fosse Gallery works with collectors internationally through exhibitions and online sales. It is often described as one of the most important UK art galleries and is internationally recognised, serving customers worldwide. Founded by Gerard O’Farrell and Brian Sinfield, the gallery began by dealing in Victorian watercolours before building a strong reputation in Modern British art. By the mid-1980s, through the influential partnership of O’Farrell and Don Steyn, Fosse became known for its specialism in Scottish painting and for the calibre of its exhibitions, earning recognition worldwide. I joined Fosse Gallery in the mid-1990s and learnt under Don Steyn, whose knowledge, rigour and generosity shaped the way I understand art and the responsibilities that come with it. I had the good fortune to take over the gallery in 2006. I have since curated and staged hundreds of exhibitions for prominent art societies and talented emerging and established artists based here in the UK. Over time, Fosse has become inseparable from my own life, you could even say it is my bones.…
