About — GALLERY 110 Seattle 0 Gallery 110 is a Seattle nonprofit artist collective established in 2002. Run by our artist members , governed by a board of directors, and co-piloted by an executive director and board chair—we take pride in our history of exhibiting dynamic cohorts of member and guest artists from all backgrounds. Mission Gallery 110 is a nonprofit, artist-run collective that empowers emerging and established artists through curated exhibitions, public programs, and collaborative projects. Vision We envision a sustainable future where Gallery 110 provides a platform for a thriving network of diverse artists, curators, and community members united by a shared passion for contemporary art. Current Members Current Members Past Members Past Members Our History 2000 Artist/curator George Brandt purchases a business at 110 S. Washington Street called The Prints & The Pauper and turns it into a fine art gallery called Mary Vitold Gallery. 2002 Gallery 110 is born! Brandt changes the business model from commercial gallery to a professional collective dedicated to creating opportunities for emerging and under-represented local artists. 2007-08 The collective goes through a restructuring period, reducing its membership from a total of 62 members to a carefully selected roster of 24 actively involved colleagues plus a gallery director. 2009 The gallery applies for federal tax exempt status (501 (c)(3) and obtains its own business license.…
