Japhet Bates Collective is a contemporary art gallery and platform. Founded by longtime friends and interior designers Lisa Rowe-Bates and Juli Japhet, the collective was created to make art collecting more approachable, engaging, and enjoyable. With decades of design experience-and Lisa's formal background in art history and arts education-Lisa and Juli bring both aesthetic insight and industry knowledge to their curatorial work. Over the years, they noticed that many clients felt intimidated by the traditional art world. Japhet Bates Collective fills that gap by offering a welcoming gallery experience where discovery feels natural and connection is key. In addition to exhibitions, the gallery also offers art advisory and consulting services for private collectors and designers. Rather than operate as conventional gallerists, Lisa and Juli see themselves as partners to collectors and advocates for artists-committed to building community through art.
