OPALIS is not a gallery in the traditional sense. Instead, I work project by project, depending entirely on what an artist wants or needs to achieve. A project can take many forms; a fair participation, an exhibition, a press initiative, a strategic repositioning, or something entirely different. What matters most is sitting down together, defining a goal, and understanding what success looks like in each specific case. That goal might be reaching new collectors, reshaping an online presence, gaining institutional visibility, or exploring alternative formats beyond the classical gallery system. This approach is a personal matter to me. I know from experience that not every artist fits neatly into a gallery structure and that today, not every artist needs to. There are many valid paths, and OPALIS exists to help explore and support those alternative routes. Because I run a gallery myself, I understand how demanding and complex the art world can be. That’s why OPALIS is open to artists at any stage of their career: emerging, mid-career, established with or without gallery representation.
