With growing global tensions, humanitarian crises and continued social stasis, we find ourselves lost in a post-apocalyptic space of reflection and uncertainty, bringing forth conversations surrounding displacement, identity and womanhood. Otherlandz is a rhizomatic programme of nomadic events that centres the voices of women artists who are UK based and beyond, whose work celebrates the multiplicity of women’s stories across cultures, borders, and generations. The programme embraces a transnational lens, welcoming artists from the Global South whose practices interrogate colonial legacies, migration, and the politics of visibility. From the vibrant resistance of African performance to the quiet resilience in South Asian textile traditions, Otherlandz is a living archive of diasporic memory and radical imagination.…
