Founded in 2001 by Paul LeBaron Thiebaud (1960-2010), Paul Thiebaud Gallery has an established a track record of excellence in both its roster of artists and curated exhibitions. A defining feature of the gallery has been its commitment to exhibiting the best of established, mid-career, and emerging contemporary artists alongside Modern Masters. Notable exhibitions of the gallery include solo presentations for Willem de Kooning, Giorgio Morandi, Wayne Thiebaud, Stephen De Staebler, Robert Indiana, Franz Kline, and Richard Diebenkorn. Paul LeBaron Thiebaud also continued the Twenty-Five Treasures exhibition series he debuted in 1990 while a partner in Campbell-Thiebaud Gallery. Featuring the works of 25 artists and makers, these signature exhibitions bring together works from diverse cultures from around the world that can qualitatively be viewed as rare and special. Since Paul LeBaron Thiebaud’s passing in 2010, the gallery has continued to evolve its roster and programming beyond its traditional core of American Realism to include Modern and Contemporary Abstraction. The gallery has held significant special exhibitions, including Contemporary Asian American Abstraction and Where Things Begin: 10 American Artists of the Asian Diaspora, both of which explore the impact of Asian American artists of diverse heritages on Modern and Contemporary Art in the United States.…
