Led by Representative Director Takato Kano, the gallery was established in Nagoya, with a second location opened in Yokohama, as a contemporary continuation of the long-standing values and vision of Gallery Iskra. In 1983, Gallery Iskra was established under the leadership of Yoshihisa Kano (currently Chairman) with the philosophy of “connecting people through art.” With a mission to promote the value of artworks and serve as a bridge between cultures, the corporation has made a significant contribution to the development of the Japanese art market.
