about us Skip to main content We are a couple from Kyiv, Ukraine. Ivan and Kateryna Pidhainyi. Two years ago we opened the gallery of contemporary Ukrainian art gallery, Test Gallery, in the historic barrio of Barcelona at Carrer Milans, 3. Test Gallery is focused on emerging contemporary art. The primary goal of the gallery is to introduce contemporary Ukrainian art to both global and local audiences. By conducting collaborative projects with international artists, the gallery also aims to strengthen relationships between Spain, neighbour countries and Ukraine. Kateryna has more than ten years of experience organizing art projects both domestically and internationally as a curator and cultural manager. She also serves as a cultural management advisor for public and private institutions. She graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kyiv and a Master’s degree in Culture Management from the University of Barcelona. Ivan is a professional sculptor and a teacher of academic sculpture and anatomy in his studio in Barcelona. He is now dedicating more time to his profession and personal sculpture projects, with his works featured in the gallery catalogue.
