Centre 42, located at 42 Waterloo Street is Singapore’s first institution dedicated to playwriting and theatre development. Established in 2014, the non-profit writing centre focuses on English language theatre and aims to “document, create and promote writing for the Singapore stage” through programmes, residencies and collaboration with other industry players. Centre 42 also runs The C42 Archive of Singapore Theatre.
