Mexican filmmakers to co-host Serpentine Summer Party

The Serpentine Summer Party, a major fixture in London's art calendar, will take place on 23 June, co-hosted by Mexican actress Salma Hayek Pinault and celebrated filmmakers Alfonso Cuarón and Alejandro González Iñárritu. The event, an invite-only fundraiser, celebrates the Serpentine pavilion, which this year is titled 'a serpentine' and designed by Mexico City-based architecture firm Lanza Atelier. Last year's co-host was movie icon Cate Blanchett.

Project 88 and Vadehra Art Gallery at No.9 Cork Street for London Gallery Weekend

Project 88 and Vadehra Art Gallery, two leading Indian galleries, will present exhibitions at Frieze’s No.9 Cork Street space in London from 5th–28th June 2026, coinciding with London Gallery Weekend. Project 88 debuts with 'Treeish', a group show curated by Prajna Desai featuring artists Claire Baker, Mahesh Baliga, Neha Choksi, Goutam Ghosh, Trupti Patel, and Tejal Shah, exploring the agency of trees through diverse media. Vadehra Art Gallery returns with 'A Singular Modernist', a solo exhibition dedicated to the late modernist painter A. Ramachandran (1935–2023), showcasing works from his Puppet Theatre series and later lotus pond imagery.

Beyond the Streets at La Villette’s Grande Halle: the exhibition dedicated to the legends of graffiti and street art

"Beyond the Streets," a major exhibition dedicated to graffiti and street art, opens at the Grande Halle de La Villette in Paris from May 27 to August 30, 2026. Featuring over 100 artists including Futura 2000, Shepard Fairey, Invader, JonOne, André Saraiva, Felipe Pantone, Mister Cartoon, Vhils, Yoshi Omori, JR, Ozzie Juarez, Nadya Tolokonnikova, Kenny Scharf, Paul Insect, and Tim Conlon, the show spans 3,600 square meters with historic works, new pieces, archives, and immersive installations. Highlights include a train car installation, a mural by JonOne, a gallery dedicated to Shepard Fairey, "The Cosmic Cave" by Kenny Scharf, "The Marionette Workshop" by Paul Insect, and a section on the Beastie Boys and French hip-hop, including outfits from Dapper Dan and T-shirts from Driss Dendoune's collection.
