UES Galleries Open Their Doors For Free Event This Weekend

45 galleries along Madison Avenue on Manhattan's Upper East Side will open their doors for the free Madison Avenue Spring Art Walk on Saturday, May 13, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Participating spaces include the newly opened Gagosian gallery, which is showing a Marcel Duchamp exhibition, as well as Di Donna (featuring Salvador Dalí works) and Acquavella Galleries (featuring Henri Matisse works). Several galleries will host artist talks, including Luxembourg + Co. on motorized technologies in 20th-century art and D Lan Galleries on Australian First Nations art. The event is co-hosted by the Madison Avenue Business Improvement District and ARTnews, and has been held every May and October since 2008.

Venice Family Clinic’s Art Exhibition + Auction

The 47th annual Venice Family Clinic Art Exhibition + Auction will take place May 8–17, 2026, at 910 Abbot Kinney in Venice, Los Angeles. Founded in 1979 as the Venice Art Walk, it is the city’s longest-running charity art exhibition, featuring Signature Artist Alison Saar and over 150 established and emerging Los Angeles artists. Proceeds support Venice Family Clinic’s health care services for more than 45,000 patients across the Westside, Inglewood, the South Bay, and beyond.

Art News: A Preview Of The Lucas Museum Of Narrative Art and A Roberta Flack Auction at Julien’s

The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, a 300,000-square-foot institution designed by Ma Yansong of MAD Architects with Stantec, will open in Los Angeles' Exposition Park on September 22. The 11-acre campus includes a park by Mia Lehrer of Studio-MLA and will feature over 1,200 objects across 30 galleries, showcasing narrative art from ancient sculptures to modern cinema, drawn from the museum's founding collection. Separately, Julien's Auctions will host "Roberta Flack: Style, Art & Music," a no-reserve auction celebrating the singer's life and cultural impact, including her Bösendorfer Imperial Concert Grand Piano.

The Art Museum of Eastern Idaho opens up new art exhibition this Friday

The Art Museum of Eastern Idaho in Rexburg will open a new exhibition titled "Sacred Spaces: Visions of the West from the Prosaic to the Sublime" this Friday. The show features works by six contemporary artists from Idaho and Utah—David Dibble, Bryan Mark Taylor, Josh Clare, Allie Zeyer, Louisa Lorenz, and Carson Thompson—primarily in oil paintings, alongside historic farm photographs from the Museum of Idaho and private collection photos from executive director Alexa Stanger. Free public events include an Art Walk on Thursday, an opening reception on Friday with an audio tour featuring artists' voices, and art demos with a Q&A on Saturday.

Living In Color: Vibrant textile art exhibition coming to Grand Central District

The Werk Gallery in St. Petersburg, Florida, is hosting "Living In Color," a textile and fiber art exhibition organized by the Tampa Bay Surface Design Guild.
