Running from May 29 to July 26, 2026, the show features original artworks, merchandise such as blankets and picnic mats, and a special artist talk on May 30 where Breen will discuss his creative process and the global following his tender, everyday-life comics have attracted since 2018.

Free curator’s tour of Expo 86 art at Surrey gallery Thursday

Curator Jordan Strom will lead a free tour of "In the Shadows of the Pavilions: Expo 86 and Contemporary Art" at Surrey Art Gallery on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 7 p.m. The group exhibition features original and archival work from 1986 by over 50 artists, including Bill Reid, Robert Davidson, Debra Sparrow, and Paul Wong, spanning photography, painting, film, weavings, sculpture, video, performance, and installation art. New İstanbul art exhibition questions the meaning of animal shelters

The exhibition "Barı-n/m-ak" has opened at Müze Gazhane in Istanbul, curated by Hicran Aksöz as a social responsibility project that merges contemporary art with animal rights advocacy. Daura Museum of Art exhibits work of local artists this summer

The Daura Museum of Art at the University of Lynchburg is exhibiting works by local artists Laura Reed Howell and the late Georgia Weston Morgan through July 17. Morgan, a pioneering female painter from Lynchburg who studied in Paris and had her portrait accepted into the Paris Salon, is honored in Gallery I with a curated exhibition by museum assistant Thomas Canard.
