The Cultural Council for Palm Beach County, in partnership with the Palm Beach Sports Commission, has opened "Kinetic Energy," an exhibition at the Cultural Council headquarters in Lake Worth Beach, Florida. The show features 14 Palm Beach County-based artists and over 25 works in various mediums, exploring the power and grace of sports. It runs through June 12 and is free to the public, timed to coincide with the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026.

Bailey Art Gallery Exhibit Celebrates Life on the Water

The Bailey Art Gallery in Hobe Sound, Florida, will open a new exhibition on April 24 featuring works by local painter Dan Mackin and photographer M.E. Gruber. Mackin’s highly stylized paintings—created with airbrush and traditional techniques—depict idyllic coastal scenes on canvas, navigation maps, surfboards, and a guitar, and include collaborations with Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys. Gruber’s mid-century Kodachrome transparencies, drawn from an archive of over 5,000 images, document the emerging surf culture of Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast. The exhibition will display 50 full-frame prints from this collection.

Two new art exhibitions have opened at the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County in Lake Worth Beach, Florida. The first, 'Kinetic Energy: A Celebration of Sport in Palm Beach County,' features works by 14 local artists inspired by sports such as soccer, polo, dance, and swimming. The second exhibition highlights Asian American and Pacific Islander artists. An opening reception was held on April 16, 2026.
