Dublin Gallery Weekend puts art at the heart of the city

Dublin Gallery Weekend 2025 will take place from 6–9 November, transforming the city into a canvas with over 40 galleries, cultural institutions, and artist studios participating. The program features more than 100 Irish contemporary artists, including solo exhibitions by Isabel Nolan at Kerlin Gallery, Corban Walker at Soloman Fine Art, Geraldine O’Neill at Kevin Kavanagh Gallery, and Patrick Graham at Hillsboro Fine Art. International highlights include Chilean artist Cecilia Vicuña’s first Irish solo show at the Irish Museum of Modern Art, and a cross-cultural printmaking project responding to Lafcadio Hearn’s ghost stories at SO Fine Art Editions. The weekend offers over 60 free events, including studio tours, talks, workshops, and late-night socials.

During Guadalajara Art Week, exhibitions and fairs raise city’s profile

During the fourth annual Guadalajara Art Week, held in late September 2025, Mexico's art world converged on the city for five days of fairs, exhibitions, public programs, and studio tours. Key events included Estación Material, a boutique fair launched by Material Fair director Brett Schultz, where galleries presented single-artist installations; a performance art showcase by Salón Acme's Estudio Acme program; and a new edgy fair called Temporal, held in a dilapidated downtown building. Standout artists included Sebastián Hidalgo (showing with Saenger Galería) and Othiana Roffiel (with Galería Karen Huber). Philadelphia Magic Gardens exhibition examines queerness, migration and belonging

Artist Santiago Galeas is presenting his first solo museum exhibition, "Entre Raíces y Alas" (Between Roots and Wings), at the Philadelphia Magic Gardens. The showcase features a series of portraits and landscapes that explore the intersection of queer identity, the first-generation immigrant experience, and the concept of diaspora. Galeas, a graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and the New York Academy of Fine Arts, utilizes symbolic imagery and intimate interviews with his subjects to capture the vulnerability and essence of the queer Latin American community.
