Visual arts highlights include a Joan Miró exhibition at Naples Art Institute, a permanent collection show at The Baker Museum, and a public art installation by Michelle Tricca at Lipman Farms. Musical programming features Gulfshore Opera's Carmen, Latin Grammy nominee Leslie Cartaya, and Opera Naples Festival under Ramón Tebar.

The Gallery: “Open House” by Area C Projects

The City of Tampa has added the monumental sculpture “Open House” by Area C Projects to its Public Art Collection, installed at the City Center at Hanna Avenue. Created by Rhode Island-based husband-and-wife team Erik Carlson and Ericka Carpenter, the piece features house silhouettes in vibrant sunset-inspired panels and illuminated street-name inscriptions.
