UW Biodiversity Institute Seeking Art to Exhibit in New Gallery

The University of Wyoming's Biodiversity Institute is seeking artwork to display in the gallery located in the atrium/lobby of the Berry Biodiversity Conservation Center. Submissions are open to UW students, faculty, professionals, children, and groups, with exhibitions featuring biodiversity-related media such as photography, paintings, sculptures, and collaborative scientist-artist projects. The next exhibition, titled "Adventures on the Kinabatangan: UW Field Course 2025," will showcase work from UW students who traveled to Borneo.

Amble art exhibition showcases almost 70 works by Northumberland artists

Dovecote Street Arts in Amble, Northumberland, is launching a new exhibition featuring nearly 70 artworks by 47 local artists selected through an open call. Titled 'Amble, Northumberland, England', the show explores how national themes manifest in local communities, with works from artists including sculptor-painter duo Geoffrey and Sarah Bradford and award-winning painter Katherine Rousselange. The exhibition is supported by a £400 grant from the Alnmouth Arts Festival and opens to the public on May 23, 2026, coinciding with the Amble Puffin Festival, running until June 7.
