Water Spring Middle student receives recognition in The Dalí Museum exhibition

Elora Shouse, a sixth-grader at Water Spring Middle School in Orange County, Florida, received an honorable mention in The Dalí Museum's 2026 Student Surrealist Art Exhibition. The annual juried show features work from Florida middle and high school students, with this year's theme titled "The Surreal Self: Personal Symbols, Stories and Portraits." The statewide exhibition runs through August 2 at The Dalí Museum.

Broome County Public Library brings back Da Vinci Festival Student Art Show

The Da Vinci Festival Student Art Show has returned to the Broome County Public Library in New York after a nearly ten-year hiatus. Organized by Chenango Valley art teacher Matthew Wilson, the exhibit features artwork from students in kindergarten through 12th grade across 18 schools in seven districts. The festival had not been held since 2017 due to a coordinator stepping down and subsequent delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

CCM Displays the Work of Student Artists in a Summer Art Exhibition

The County College of Morris (CCM) in Randolph, New Jersey, is hosting a Summer Art Exhibition featuring works by students from its Summer Portfolio and Presentation course. A reception was held on June 20 at the Learning Resource Center on CCM’s campus. The exhibition showcases selected pieces by students including Susan Harrsch, John Lyssikatos, Lia Scherr, Sarah Sci, Kevin Testa, and Allison Zavaleta, who completed the course designed to prepare Fine Art and Design students for careers or further study.
