Carnegie Arts Center opens annual youth art exhibition May 29

The Carnegie Arts Center in Turlock, California, will host its annual youth art exhibition, “Ready, Set, Show!”, from May 29 to June 27. The show invites students in grades K–12 to submit up to three pieces of artwork for display in the Ferrari Gallery, with free entry and a special section for the “Parks Are Fun!” banner contest. A free Family Friday reception will open the exhibition on May 29.

Date clash for park opening

The Mareeba Arts Society is hosting a "Meet the Artist" afternoon tea this Sunday as part of an exhibition by artist Julie Daniel. Her work, inspired by her Karnak heritage and life in Far North Queensland, features themes of the Coral Sea and will be on display at the society's location next to 100 Park on Byrnes Street until the end of the month.

Glencoe Mansion to Host Gallery Art Show Featuring Works by LaDonna Sepers

Glencoe Mansion in Radford, Virginia, will host a gallery art show titled "Palette and Prism" featuring works by artist LaDonna Sepers from May 14 through June 25, 2026. An opening reception will be held on May 14 from 5:30 to 7:00 PM, free and open to the public. Sepers, who studied art at the University of Wisconsin, works in oil, watercolor, and heavy body acrylics, focusing on the expressive light in the eyes of human and animal subjects.
