Bridges of Belonging: Cinco de Mayo Art Reception

2025 Late Summer Exhibit - Art Galleries

Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) is hosting its 2nd annual summer group exhibition from July 1–31, 2025, featuring forty-two Northern Nevada artists. The show, titled "Myself/My Space: Collage Interpretations of Self-portraits & Environment," is presented by WEDGE OUTSIDE THE BOX in connection with Artown 2025. An opening reception will be held July 9 at TMCC’s Main Art Gallery in the V. James Eardley Student Center, Reno, NV. The exhibition explores identity and place through two- and three-dimensional mixed-media collage works.

This Spring at the Everhart Museum

The Everhart Museum in Scranton has unveiled its spring and summer programming, featuring a diverse lineup of exhibitions and community events. New art gallery opens at downtown Victoria’s Fairmont Empress

Mountain Galleries, a Canadian fine art gallery group, has opened a new location inside the Fairmont Empress hotel in downtown Victoria. Carson High artists dazzle at Nevada Artists Association Student Art Show

The collection features a series of tree-inspired dreamscapes created through a blend of traditional brushwork and digital painting techniques. The works range from symmetrical patterns to stained-glass aesthetics, designed to evoke a sense of calm, mystery, and transcendence through the exploration of nature.

Artist co-op in Olde Town Arvada in need of new space to continue showcasing local artwork

Burd's Nest Art Gallery, an artist co-op in Olde Town Arvada, Colorado, opened in February 2024 with about 35 local artists showcasing ceramics, fused glass, jewelry, and other artwork. Owner Judi Mitchell realized a lifelong dream by creating the co-op, but the building will soon become a restaurant, forcing the gallery to find a new affordable space or temporarily close. Mitchell has been unable to find a suitable replacement location and may have only a month or two left in the current space.
