Students Selected for Autry Museum's Arts Exhibition

Twenty-seven students from South Pasadena High School have been selected to exhibit their work in the Autry Museum of the American West's "Visions of Humanity" student show, marking the largest number of SPHS students ever accepted into the exhibition. The display runs through May 31 at the Autry Museum in Griffith Park, featuring fourteen students in painting and drawing and thirteen in photography, taught by teachers Rouzanna Berberian and Aimee Levie-Hultman.

The Gulf Coast Art Alliance (GCAA) is hosting the Gulf Shores High School Amplify Art Exhibit at its gallery in Gulf Shores, Alabama, from May 4 to May 29. The exhibition features artwork created by high school students, with cash awards and a public reception scheduled for May 14 from 4-6 p.m. at the GCAA Gallery located at 225 E 24th Ave. The gallery is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Artapolooza 2026: Crestview student wins Best of Show at Mid-Ohio ESC regional art exhibition

Artapolooza 2026, a regional student art exhibition organized by the Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center, took place from April 17 to 22 in Mansfield, Ohio. Over 3,000 student artists from 23 local school districts participated, with Gracie Gallaway of Crestview Senior High School winning Best of Show for her acrylic floral portrait. Other top honors included Kayla Mendez, Anastasia Stimens, and Aria Wright in the High School Division, and Eelyn Crist, Ariel Ramsey, and Olive Richards in the Middle School Division. The revived Rising Star Award was presented to Georgia Gantz of Highland High School, who received professional art supplies to support her artistic development.
