Heritage Fine Arts Guild’s “Best of Heritage” returns to Bemis Public Library

The Heritage Fine Arts Guild is bringing back its annual "Best of Heritage" art show to the Bemis Public Library in Littleton, Colorado, from June 1 to June 30. The exhibition features nearly 50 paintings by 24 guild artists, centered on the theme "Our Vision: Our Joy," chosen collectively by members to reflect finding joy in community, art, and life. A juried awards reception will be held on June 10, with juror Mary Williams, a Colorado-based artist and curator for the Healing Arts Program at several local hospitals, selecting top prizes and offering critiques to participating artists.

Vernon Public Art Gallery unveils four new diverse summer exhibitions

The Vernon Public Art Gallery (VPAG) in British Columbia is launching four new summer exhibitions in June 2026: Emergence, featuring recent BFA graduates from UBCO; Fireline Kinship, a multidisciplinary response to the 2021 Nk’Mip Creek wildfire by Taylor Baptiste; Through Our Eyes, showcasing youth from the Boys and Girls Club Okanagan’s Teen Junction Youth Program; and Gathered, a group exhibition by School District 22 Indigenous students. Westman YFC calls out for more artists to join their 4th Annual Art Show & Sale

Westman Youth for Christ (YFC) is calling for more artists to participate in its 4th Annual Art Show & Sale, scheduled for June 18th and 19th at the Ukrainian National Hall in Brandon, Manitoba. The event, which also serves as a fundraiser, features a theme of 'What is Beauty? Finding Joy in the world around us' and accepts both flat-art and 3D works. Artists may sell their pieces with a 30% commission going to Westman YFC, and donors can receive a tax receipt for the remaining 70% if donated to the art program. Dawn Redlin, Creative Journeys Program Director, oversees three therapeutic art programs—Create (Tuesday nights), a Monday afternoon directed art group, and one-on-one therapeutic art coaching—that serve up to 50 young people annually, many facing addiction, mental health, or homelessness issues.
