The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust (PCT) will open a four-acre art-filled park called Arts Landing in 2026, part of a $600 million government plan to revitalize the city's cultural district. The $31 million project will feature ten regional artists, including Pittsburgh-based vanessa german, whose work 'Lifted' honors local elders, and Thaddeus Mosley, whose exhibition 'Touching the Earth' will travel from New York's City Hall Park via a partnership with the Public Art Fund. Other commissions include Darian Johnson's wildlife sculptures with VaultArt Studio and John Peña's interactive kinetic work with the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh.

Florida Atlantic University’s Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD) partnered with the City of Boynton Beach to host the fifth annual 'Art and Autism' exposition. Held at the Boynton Beach Arts & Cultural Center in honor of Autism Awareness Month, the event featured approximately 50 artists—a significant increase from the three or four participants at its inception in 2021. The showcase included a diverse array of media, from graphic illustrations and children's books by artists like Kiora Slate to live musical performances by Patrick Fahely, providing a public platform for neurodivergent creators to sell their work and share their personal stories.
Alison Mustokoff, a feminist artist and former teacher, opened The Jane Gallery in Philadelphia's Old City in October 2024. The gallery is dedicated exclusively to showcasing women, nonbinary, and queer artists, offering exhibitions, performances, workshops, artist talks, and community events. Mustokoff, who moved from New York to Philadelphia 16 years ago, cites the statistic that only 17% of artists in museums are women as a driving force behind her mission to support and celebrate underrepresented voices in the visual arts.
Holocaust Museum LA, the first survivor-founded and oldest Holocaust museum in the United States, will reopen after a 10-month closure as part of the new $70-million Goldrich Cultural Center in Pan Pacific Park. The 70,000-square-foot campus, debuting June 14, doubles the museum's original footprint and includes three pavilions, a 200-seat theater, exhibition galleries, a rooftop garden, and a Holocaust-era boxcar. The center is named after the late Jona Goldrich, a Holocaust survivor and co-founder of the museum, and was designed by architect Hagy Belzberg.
