A free reception for the exhibition “Bridges of Belonging: Cinco de Mayo, Bi-National Identity, and the Spirit of Chignahuapan” will be held on May 1 at the Clark County Government Center Rotunda Gallery in Las Vegas. The event, themed “Puentes de Pertenencia,” features live music, cultural performances, visual arts, and food, with the exhibit on display through May 28.
Central Oregon Community College is hosting two distinct art exhibitions across its campuses this spring. The Barber Library Rotunda Gallery in Bend will feature "Satsumas on the Moon," a series of abstract paintings by local artist and OSU-Cascades instructor Andrew C.M. Lorish, while the Redmond campus is showcasing a 32-piece collection of digital and ink works by student Wick L. Dundon.
The St. Johns Cultural Council and the St. Augustine Art Association present the plein air art exhibition 'Historic Impressions on a Modern Canvas,' opening October 9 at the Rotunda Gallery in St. Augustine, Florida. Juried by artist Kathy Odom, the show features works created during the city's April Plein Air Paint Out and other local paint-out events at venues including the Lightner Museum Garden and Fort Mose Historic State Park. A public reception with a People's Choice Awards vote will be held on opening night.
