The North Fork Arts Center is opening a new exhibition titled "Small Works" on May 23, 2026, featuring five local artists: Virginia Cava, Delia Reiss, Debra Riva, Hilary North, and Gerard Lehner. The Fine 383/CS 383 Computational Digital Art Studio, a cross-listed course between the Fine Arts Department and the Cheriton School of Computer Science at the University of Waterloo, held an exhibition showcasing final projects by students Yujin Bae, Laith Bahodi, Niko Forsyth, Aastha Parmar, Vedaant Varshney, Jeannie Zhang, and Wilbur Zhang. The County College of Morris (CCM) in Randolph, New Jersey, is hosting a Summer Art Exhibition featuring works by students from its Summer Portfolio and Presentation course. A reception was held on June 20 at the Learning Resource Center on CCM’s campus. The exhibition showcases selected pieces by students including Susan Harrsch, John Lyssikatos, Lia Scherr, Sarah Sci, Kevin Testa, and Allison Zavaleta, who completed the course designed to prepare Fine Art and Design students for careers or further study.
Artspace Gallery in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, has opened a new exhibition titled “Dissonance,” featuring works by member artist Jermaine Johnson. The show is dedicated to Johnson’s late mother, Tanya, who passed away in 2023. A public reception will be held on Saturday, May 30, from 4-6 p.m. at the gallery, located at 221 Center St., where the artist will be present to discuss his work. Johnson, an oil painter, wire weaver, and fiber artist educated at the Art Institute of Philadelphia, explores themes of media, spirituality, race, history, and popular culture through mixed-media pieces that incorporate water-mixable oils, paper, natural and synthetic fibers, semi-precious stones, and copper wire.
