Historic Downtown Pocatello to hold Art Walk on Friday

Historic Downtown Pocatello will host its May First Friday Art Walk on Friday, May 1, from 5 to 8 p.m., featuring local and regional art, music, food, and fashion. Participating venues include the Pocatello Art Center with its Shared Perspectives Exhibition, White Owl Books & Imports, Knotty Twist inside Elwen Cottage hosting Indiana Morris of Firefly Designs, Walrus & Carpenter Books with an open mic, Enchantments offering aura photos and tarot readings, Salty's True Tattoo, Mitera Made, Purpose Tea, The Martlet Brewery with live music by Cat Daddy, The Hygge Place hosting author Daniel Miller, Old Town Alley Outdoor Gallery, Bluebird Country Boutique, Cottonwood Junction, The Not So Starving Artist gallery owned by Jim Bacigalupi, Main Street Mercantile & Antiques featuring Annie Oakley Design Co., Wysteriasage & The Vintage Menagerie, and Brick 243 Gastropub.

FRC student artists present exhibition across 2 galleries

Feather River College's Studio Arts Department is holding its annual Student Art Exhibition in May across two Quincy galleries: Main Street Artists Gallery and Plumas Arts Gallery. The exhibition features student work in drawing, painting, photography, and sculpture, with an opening reception on May 1. Additionally, Main Street Artists Gallery is showcasing three resident fine jewelry creators—Robert Rose, Judy Dailey, and Michael Borofka—alongside other gallery members' work.

‘Wild Life’ and May Show Opening Reception

The McLean Art Gallery is hosting an opening reception on May 1 for its May show and a special exhibit titled 'Wild Life,' presented by the local nonprofit McLean Art Society. The exhibit runs from May 1–31 and features over 200 new works in various media including oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor, mixed media, drawing, photography, sculpture, wood, glass, ceramics, and jewelry, exploring diverse interpretations of the theme beyond just animals.

Call for entries for 77th Grand Detour Arts Festival underway

The Grand Detour Arts Festival committee is now accepting applications from artists for its 77th annual event, scheduled for September 13 at the John Deere Historic Site. TWiST Art Gallery, Art Space & Artist Studios has opened in the Bayshore Arts District of Naples, Florida, as a new non-profit creative hub. The grand opening was funded primarily by two sold-out Embellished Wearable Arts Fashion Shows in 2024 and 2025, which raised over $100,000 for affordable art classes and studios. SADA faculty members showcase art at museum

Liberty University's semi-annual Faculty Art Exhibition opened on September 4 and runs through October 13, 2025, at the Liberty University Art Museum in Green Hall.
