The third annual Affordable Art Fair Austin will take place from May 14 to 17 at the Palmer Events Center, featuring 28 Texas galleries and a total of 55 galleries from locations as far as Sydney, Australia. Artworks are priced between $100 and $12,000, and the fair includes live painting, an interactive mural, family programming, and a raffle benefiting Dell Children’s Medical Center. Padua's Gino Allegri Airport, historically used for military purposes and now partially repurposed for commercial and tourist flights, is transforming into a cultural hub. In December 2024, the Terminal Urbano opened inside the airport, a multifunctional space created by Heron Air (the private flight company that has managed the airport since 2021 under a 20-year concession). The space includes the Himmelmann exhibition area for temporary shows, performances, and conferences, and features permanent works such as Sergio Rodella's "Icaro." Now, the airport is moving to phase two: a massive renovation of former military hangars, set to begin by 2026, which will demolish old helicopter offices, refurbish the first hangar, and restore the former Aeroclub building. Some spaces will be sold to private entities, while others will be dedicated to public, non-profit artistic, and educational projects.
Hangar – Centro de Investigação Artística in Lisbon has launched an open call for its Longitudes Residency programme. The call invites artists, writers, curators, researchers, and musicians from diverse disciplines to apply for stays of one to three months. Dunedin’s Araiteuru Marae will host the inaugural Pātaka Ora Summer Art Exhibition & Auction on November 24, 2025, from 5pm to 9pm at the Shetland Street marae. The event features works from rangatahi (youth) to tohunga toi (experienced artists), including paintings, ceramics, and photography, alongside music, conversation, and food. The District Council of Grant in South Australia is launching the inaugural Art-Ability Exhibition at The Hangar Gallery in Mount Gambier, calling on local artists living with disabilities to submit their work. The Dry Canyon Arts Association (DCAA) will open the Dry Canyon Community Arts Center in downtown Redmond later this year, occupying 3,000 square feet (eventually 4,500) of the historic Rogers & Lynch Building at SW 6th and Deschutes Ave. The space will include three classrooms, a gift shop, and 2-3 galleries, with plans for art studios and workshops. DCAA takes possession on August 1 and hopes to host a grand opening that week. The project is funded through grants, donations, memberships, and corporate sponsorships, with about $38,000 raised toward an estimated $80,000 renovation cost.

Museo La Neomudéjar in Madrid is presenting a major exhibition titled '30 Years of Irreverence and Vision in the Fuentes Angarita Collection.'
