Gloria Sharp’s ‘A Lifetime of Color’ Batik Exhibit At Step Up Gallery Runs Through June 10

Step Up Gallery in Los Alamos is hosting 'A Lifetime of Color', a retrospective of batik artworks by artist Gloria Sharp. The exhibition opened on May 16 with a reception attended by longtime friends, former co-workers, and fellow artists. It marks Sharp's first large solo show spanning several decades of her career and runs through June 10 at the gallery located on the upper level of Mesa Public Library.

KIDOOO INSTALL DAY

Maryland Art Place (MAP) is hosting KIDOOO INSTALL DAY on Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 12 pm to 4 pm, a youth version of its annual Out of Order event. Elementary, middle, and high school artists ages five to sixteen are invited to hang one original framed work (24" x 24" or less) on a first-come, first-served basis at MAP's 5th floor Gallery in Baltimore's Bromo Arts and Entertainment District. Registration is free, and all works must be priced to sell, with a silent auction taking place virtually on April 10, 2026.

CCM Displays the Work of Student Artists in a Summer Art Exhibition

The County College of Morris (CCM) in Randolph, New Jersey, is hosting a Summer Art Exhibition featuring works by students from its Summer Portfolio and Presentation course. A reception was held on June 20 at the Learning Resource Center on CCM’s campus. The exhibition showcases selected pieces by students including Susan Harrsch, John Lyssikatos, Lia Scherr, Sarah Sci, Kevin Testa, and Allison Zavaleta, who completed the course designed to prepare Fine Art and Design students for careers or further study.
