Luminous Tiffany Window Poised to Net $2 Million at Auction

A late 19th-century Tiffany stained-glass window, known as the Boyd Family Memorial Window (The Falls), is set to be auctioned at Christie's in June with an estimated price of $2 million. The window, depicting a waterfall and sunset landscape, has been installed in the Second Congregational Church in Winsted, Connecticut, for 125 years and was commissioned by Ellen Wright Boyd in memory of her parents.

South London abstract artist Courtenay Kusitor is set to debut her first solo exhibition, "Unconscious / Conscious / Aligned," at the historic Carnegie Library in Herne Hill from April 18–20, 2026. The showcase features three years of expressive abstract paintings created during the artist's recovery from a near-fatal spinal injury sustained during a winter storm. By incorporating a curated selection of books alongside her canvases, Kusitor offers a window into the philosophical and psychological frameworks that informed her creative process.

From fine art to upcycled furniture - New exhibition opens in Festival Place

The Artist’s Window charity has launched a massive 660-square-metre pop-up exhibition titled Art Space within the Festival Place shopping centre. Featuring 17 professional and amateur artists, the showcase includes a diverse range of media such as fine art, photography, and upcycled furniture. The venue also functions as an interactive studio, offering community workshops and "Stay and Play" sessions for families throughout its run.

Artists call-out for 2026 Open Exhibition submissions

The Ferens Art Gallery in Hull has issued an open call for artists across the UK to submit work for its 2026 Open Exhibition. The submission window runs from April 30 to May 21, 2025, with a panel of judges selecting works for display from October 2026 to January 2027. There is a fee per submission, with a concessionary rate for younger and disabled artists, and selected artists are eligible for cash prizes.
