The Salem Area Chamber of Commerce Gallery of Art is hosting its fifth annual exhibition featuring over 60 works by approximately 55 local student artists. The show includes a diverse range of media, such as watercolor paintings, colored pencil drawings, ceramics, and gouache works, representing talent from six different regional school districts including United Local, Leetonia, and Wellsville.
The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (UWL) is presenting "Yours Truly," a senior art exhibition featuring work by graduating art and art education majors. The show, on view from November 21 to December 14, 2025, in the University Art Gallery at the Lowe Center for the Arts, includes paintings, sculptures, and mixed-media pieces developed over the Fall 2025 semester in the capstone course ART 498: Professional Practices and Exhibition, taught by Assistant Professor Joshua Doster. William & Mary students showcased their handmade artworks in the Hart Gallery's "Handmade" exhibit, held in conjunction with the Ampersand International Arts Festival. Student artists at Emory University are exhibiting works from a compassion-focused visual arts course in a new show titled "Between Shadow and Light: Artwork on Compassion" at the Emory Center for Ethics' hallway gallery. ModA (Modern Anthropology) Studios, a Los Angeles-based creative organization founded by George Fan, opened its first permanent location at 227 E 24th Street in Manhattan's Lower East Side on June 27, 2025, with a contemporary art exhibition titled “Love.” Curated by Sia Fang, the show features nine artists divided into main-exhibiting artists and a subsection called Untapped, the Collection. Hartwick College's Art and Art History Department held its Senior Art Show Reception on May 15 in the Foreman Gallery, showcasing graduating students' work across diverse media. The 2026 Student Art Exhibition opened at 2Create Gallery in Ramona on May 1, featuring works by local high school students. Aspen Gribbon, a 15-year-old Ramona High sophomore, displayed two sculptures titled “Log” and “Tiger in Pond,” inspired by nature and her favorite animal.
