The 47th Westman Juried Art Show took place at the Killarney United Church's CE Center in Manitoba, showcasing 120 pieces of flat art by 87 local artists from 23 communities. The Yahara Journal is hosting a celebration on May 1 from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Truax Gallery to mark the opening of its student art show and the release of its latest book. The 20th arrondissement of Paris will host the Open Studios at Père-Lachaise from May 8 to 11, 2026, organized by the association Ateliers du Père-Lachaise Associés (APLA). Art in the Berkshires, an online hub for visual arts in Berkshire County, is opening its first physical gallery and creative studio at 8 Castle Street in downtown Great Barrington, Massachusetts this spring. Zhao, known for his participation in major international exhibitions including the Thailand Biennale Phuket 2025, the 60th Venice Biennale (2024), and the Gwangju Biennale (2023), uses photography, video, and installation to critically examine how ecosystems transform under human control.
