"For me, art is less about the finished piece and more about the journey"

Rotherham-born, Sheffield-based textile artist Jodie Cooper, who specializes in free-motion embroidery, discusses her journey from completing a degree in Fine and Applied Arts at University Centre Rotherham to becoming a full-time artist. She was commissioned by ArtWorks Together International and East Midlands Railway to create a tactile tapestry installation at Sheffield Train Station, running until 15 June, which explores themes of travel anxiety, neurodiversity, and accessibility. In My Place in My Time: Brian Tripp Archive Exhibition – 2 Upcoming Events

Cal Poly Humboldt's Reese Bullen & Goudi’ni Native American Arts Galleries will present "In My Time, In My Place: Brian Tripp Archive," an exhibition exploring the late Karuk artist Brian D. 8,000-year-old artifact on display at Moose Jaw Museum & Art Gallery

Moose Jaw Museum & Art Gallery in Saskatchewan is presenting an exhibition titled "môso-tâpiskan: Indigenous Living Heritage," curated by local artist Sadi Rose Vaxvick. The show features artifacts from the permanent collection, including a projectile point identified by an archaeologist as 8,000 years old, as well as pottery pieces dating back 2,000 years.
